Ferocious (2025)

A tavern boy’s sheltered life is overturned by the arrival of a towering, draconic woman, a wayward soldier from a distant war who single-handedly lays waste to his entire village. He swears an oath of righteous vengeance but in order to fulfill it he’ll have to seek training… from the warrior woman herself. Ferocious is epic fantasy on an intimate scale, a revenge thriller like no other, one that stirs the heart as it goes for the jugular.

The Feral Woman’s training takes the Boy far beyond the confines of the only home he’s ever known. As they venture south together, he’s forced to confront a pair of volatile former soldiers and the limits of his own morality.

The Boy’s view of the Feral Woman grows more complicated as she embraces her role as his mentor. They’ll have to work together if they hope to survive the dangerous journey south and the bloody ambush that awaits them.

Roles reverse with the Feral Woman at death’s door and the Boy forced to take up arms to defend them against the horrors that lurk in the wilderness. But their true test lies beyond, at the shore, where a Feral Man waits with an ultimatum: abandon their violent ways or meet a violent end at his hands.

One way or another, every quest reaches its end. At last, the Boy has reached the end of his. He’s strong enough now - to challenge the Woman, to claim his vengeance. But does he still want to? And will she let him? Every step has led them here -  to one last battle.
