Sour Pickles

Pickles Yin is a final year student at a prestigious art school struggling to live up to her own expectations of how to navigate the transition from education to career. Surrounded by nepotism, Pickles' friend Radish suggests an alternative method to achieve success that results in crumbling teeth and deteriorating mental health. And work gets done, but do things really get better? Clio Isadora's thoughtful, incisive debut full length work examines capitalism and the value of a college education today. “Alternately whimsical and gritty, funny and tragic, and consistently finding new things to say about a well-trodden topic, this first outing’s a strong indicator of good things to come.” - Publishers Weekly
