Zatanna TP (2025)

Zatanna Zatara embarks on her greatest tour yet, as superstar writer and artist Jamal Campbell takes the Mistress of Magic to the Next Level! Welcome to DC's NEXT LEVEL — bold, creator-forward, new series starring fan-favorite characters, and helmed by some of the best talent in comics! As the first Prime Magus in millennia, Zatanna has the sworn to oversee the world of magic. But what is a Prime Magus, really? Just as she begins to unearth its mysteries, a murderous plague spirit descends, and Zatanna, determined but wounded, must seek help from a ghostly ally while Agent Di Manes of the Department of Occult Affairs slinks in the shadows. Then, guided by cryptic visions, Zatanna travels to the hidden city of the Homo Magi, the place of her mother's birth and death, she finds its denizens fractured and seething. From the festering unrest, a great black dragon has clawed its way into their world—a trail of ruin in its wake. If Zatanna cannot slay the beast, the Homo Magi will choke on their own ashes and the hidden city will fall. Jamal Campbell (Superman, Far Sector), the all-star writer and artist of 2025’s Eisner Award-winning Zatanna: It’s Showtime miniseries, is back for an encore with an all-new ongoing series, part of DC’s bestselling Next Level line. This volume collects Zatanna (2026) #1-6.
